This elopement was featured on Pop Sugar. Click here to see!
Nadia and Junior eloped at 10,679 feet on Sandia Crest in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Nadia has a love affair with New Mexico (as everyone should… this is seriously the best state!) and they drove all night from Texas to get here for their elopement.
It was a beautiful ceremony with just the two of them exchanging vows, shedding a few tears, and promising to love each other for always! This has been one of my favorite sessions of 2017 so far… Nadia — thank you for choosing me to photograph your elopement! It was such an honor. This was the first elopement I’ve photographed, and man… I’m sold! This is a great trend, and I hope it’s around to stay.
It was icy and hiking around at 10,000 feet? It was challenging to get to different spots for these portraits, but we all made it! Next time, I’ll rent snow shoes. Ha! At one point I walked off the path to get to a better angle and the snow under me collapsed and I was almost waist deep in snow! I’m sure I looked ridiculous trying to get out with my two cameras strapped on me, but hey… anything for the shot, right?
I hope you enjoy looking through these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
