This past Friday I packed up my snow boots and my cameras and headed North to Colorado. This was my first Breckenridge wedding, and I found myself in the cutest little Ski town I’ve EVER seen. This was a special wedding for me, because Rafael and my husband, Nathan, are close friends. It was such a treat to take my husband with me to a wedding, and I got to play both wedding photographer and guest this weekend. (Something totally out of the ordinary for me! I’m always the photographer, but never a guest!)
Heather + Rafael chose to have an intimate affair with just 20 guests, so the wedding felt so close-knit and laid back. Smaller weddings have this really special quality to them because everyone who is there is present and an active part of the wedding from start to finish, which makes everyone friends by the end of the night!
The Ceremony took place at Sapphire Point Overlook, and the views were amazing. Truly this was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve gotten to photograph (Colorado has some pretty amazing mountains!), and now I’m so excited for my next wedding in Colorado this August!
